OUR HONEYMOON |

I'm Kayla Bell. I was born and raised a southern gal, and I have a sweet southern accent to prove it. I love photography, my husband, and lazy days - and I can’t leave out my fur babies Laney & Lexi. This a fashion, diy, and apartment living blog, with a little about my own life thrown into the mix.

So I basically cried as we pulled out of the church parking lot. I was so sad the wedding was over! The day was a whirlwind, and as much as I thought I was taking everything in, it flew by faster than I could ever imagine it would. I guess a reasonable comparison is that it was a lot like the feeling you have after opening the last of your presents on Christmas morning- sad that the excitement is over but still extremely happy with the outcome. It had began sleeting as we finished up a few outdoor portraits after the reception, and the sleet turned into snow as we journeyed further. I couldn’t have asked for a better drive- practically no traffic (it was late and snowing), and we got to watch the snow softly fall around us. Asheville was about a three and a half hour drive from home, so it was almost midnight by the time we arrived at the hotel. We spent the next two days exploring Asheville, of course the highlight was touring the Biltmore Estate. I recommend everyone visit at least once. Pictures just don’t do justice for how truly beautiful it is. I’ve attached some favorite pictures from the trip- what post would be complete without?
